Bananas on the boat!?

Earlier today, one of the guests on Why Knot from this summer sent me a article on the validity of this superstition. While I am not a firm believer in the curse, I have had enough bizarre days on the water with bananas hiding in the cooler to keep my eyes peeled for this ominous fruit.
