Every year the Illinois DNR allows anglers one weekend to fish for free! June 15th-18th no fishing license is needed. We have a few openings that weekend. Check it out. This could save you anywhere from $48-$102 total per group! This also happens to be Fathers Day weekend- what a great idea for all the hard working dads out there!

The Lake Trout did not dissapoint this morning! We are booked up for 2017 as there are only 2 weeks left. 2018 Calendar will be up soon. Fishing off of Chicago has been fantastic this year on Lake Michigan and should only get better next year!

Still Getting Them!
/Steelhead, coho, and Lake Trout are making up the majority of our catch the past couple weeks. The fish are still out deep which takes some time to get to, but is worth it once we get there. 40-60 min travel times to get to fish are common. Here's a couple pics from the past couple weeks!
August 6th
/We moved a little north of where we got them Saturday and it paid off big time! 11 fish in 2 hours of fishing. We had close to 20 bites in that time frame. 230 feet of water was best. Good weather, great crew, and hungry fish made for a great trip!
August 5th
/The big north winds last week pushed our fish even further offshore! We ran 18 miles to the middle of the lake to find some hungry fish. 230-250 feet of water seemed to be best. Fishing was a little slower, but we still managed 7 fish on a 4 hour trip.
Another good weekend!
/We were kept off the lake Friday and Saturday, so we had some making up to do today. We started slow with only 3 fish on our morning 4 hour trip. The afternoon trip started slow and finished hot. We found some hungry fish in 135-155 fow. Hopefully the weather stabilizes the next couple weeks and these fish stay put!

/Fishing continues to be crazy good out of downtown Chicago. These fish should stick around the rest of the summer. Some really big King Salmon are starting to show up in the area as well. Its going to be a fun August!

Slower fishing last night, but the weather/sunset made up for it. We landed 5 of the 6 salmon we hooked up on a 4 hour trip. We are getting spoiled when we consider 5 big salmon to be a slow night! The fish are likely moving deeper- we will find them!

We keep catching big Coho Salmon! The bait is in Chicago which means we should continue to have fantastic fishing the rest of July! The 25 foot boat has only a couple openings, while the 33 foot boat has a few more. The 33 foot boat is perfect for bigger groups up to 6.

Fishing has been very consistent this weekend. The coho are fattening up on all the bait around Chicago. Best fishing remains off Navy Pier in 40-60 feet of water.
